The Fort Lee Police Department would like to announce the conclusion of the 2005 Cop Card Program. This program, which began in April, was the second one organized by the police department. Chief Thomas O. Ripoli decided to initiate the second program due to numerous additions to the department. This program was geared toward the elementary school children and offered a way of letting the Fort Lee Police Officers introduce themselves to the community. Each child that collected all 109 cards would receive a prize.
The deadline for the Cop Card Program will be on November 4, 2005. Any child that has the complete collection of Cop Cards can bring them to Fort Lee Police Headquarters. If there are any questions concerning this event please contact the Fort Lee Police Community Policing Unit at 201-592-3523.
